what i would never wear

     After writing my previous post, I've realized that there are certain "fashion" trends that I would not touch with a ten-foot-pole no matter how uncomfortable I am with myself, or how comfortable I want to be.

The Croc

     Crocs are just all kinds of wrong.  They may be comfy (I don't know, I've never tried them on) but this is one time I would sacrifice comfort for not looking like I stuck my feet into a bullfrog. And while we're at it: 

The Croc Shoe Charm

     As if the shoes weren't ugly enough on their own, now people are accessorizing them!  Oh my.

The Mom Jeans

     These jeans are tight at the waist, loose in the leg, and tight again around the ankles.  I just couldn't do it.  

The Snuggie

     Frankly, this item frightens me.  It looks like it might swallow me whole, leaving me no escape.

The Ugly Sweater

     Ugly sweaters are only good for one thing: Ugly Sweater Parties.  

The Scrunchie

     Regardless of who tries to bring this back, I could not wear it.  Too many traumatic childhood scrunchie memories :)

The Fur

     Now, I know this will be a point of contention with some readers, because they love furs.  (Kristen)  But, for myself, I could never wear one.  It would scream, "I'm a dead carcass!" at me until I gave it a proper burial.  

     So there you have it!  I still have one very small toe in the fashion world as of today!
